J Medler Haulage Co Ltd (Medler Haulage), was formed by John Medler under the J Medler Mining Timber Company in 1961 Originally our company transported timber to the National Coal Board for use in the coal mines and then returned to East Anglia with building blocks.
Our company is today spearheaded by Dean Medler and is based on the outskirts of Norwich. Utilising a fleet of nineteen heavy goods vehicles and sub-contractors, they transport goods all over the United Kingdom.
The company is connected to the building industry via its sister company J Medler Ltd, transporting bricks, blocks, roof tiles, insulation and general building materials.
Our fleet of vehicles comprises of articulated units drawing a semi-trailer of up to 13.60 metres with a mid-mounted crane, draw-bar vehicles (i.e. a rigid vehicle with a crane towing a trailer) and rigid vehicles with a crane on the rear.
Our crane off-load facility allows the product to be lifted from the vehicle to the customers’ residence or building site with the minimum of inconvenience and maximum safety.
All our vehicles are operated by competent and highly trained drivers who are contactable at all times by mobile telephone. The vehicles themselves have a payload carrying capacity ranging from 13000 kg to 27000 kg.
We are also involved in transporting other items such as fabricated steel, timber, animal feed, concrete sections, household goods and foodstuffs.
